OUR STORE
Reddendale Pharmacy has been owned and operated by the D'Souza family since May 2, 1992. We have been around as an independent, family run pharmacy for more than 25 years, surviving fires, ice storms and competition from the big box stores spread throughout Kingston.
Conveniently located in Kingston's West end, Reddendale Pharmacy is named after the beautiful lakeside neighbourhood which it primarily serves. As part of the Reddendale Plaza, we are surrounded by a complement of small businesses and services, including medical offices, a chiropractor, Indigenous Interprofessional Primary Care Team, great takeout and sit down restaurants, and a baker. Our community is a an important part of what we do; therefore we do our best to volunteer and be active in the area. We are happy and proud to call this city, and particularly the Reddendale neighbourhood, home.
Meet The Team
Robert & Aliette D'Souza
Owners
Robert & Aliette recognized the need for a community pharmacy in the Reddendale area and founded the store in 1992. They overcame many challenges over the years, from fires to ice storms, to establish the pharmacy as a neighborhood staple. They are still active in the pharmacy.
Allan D'Souza
Pharmacy Manager
Allan began working at the pharmacy as a youth when it opened in 1992 and has been here as a pharmacist since 2005. Allan is the pharmacy manager and can be found in the store more often than not. He is an avid sports fan, cottager, traveler and food lover.
Melissa D'Souza
Office Manager
Melissa handles all of the front shop merchandising in addition to managing the office. She is always more than happy to help you find the product you need. An animal lover and sports enthusiast, Melissa enjoys an active lifestyle that includes figure skating, swimming, and paddleboarding.
Dave Vyas
Pharmacist
Dave has brought years of ownership experience to the team, working here part time to serve our clients when Bob and Allan aren't available.
Melissa Frazer
Pharmacy Assistant
Mel moved back to Kingston after working at a specialty pharmacy in the GTA. Among other skills, she specializes in helping patients navigate the difficult world of insurance coverages.
Takoda Davis
Pharmacy Technician
Takoda completed his technician licensing and is fully prepared to help you with your pharmacy needs. His technical skills also extend to computers and website design.
Laura Slocum
Pharmacy Assistant
Laura's friendly demeanor has been a welcome addition to the team at Reddendale. She handles all the compliance packing duties among many others.

Ethan is another new team member to the Reddendale family.
His attention to detail and eagerness to learn makes him a great addition.

Our friendly and helpful staff are here to give you the pharmacy experience you deserve. Many large pharmacies may treat you like a number in a queue, but here at Reddendale, we put the person in personal, making the effort to learn and fulfill your specific needs. We strive to deliver an experience that is as efficient as possible while maintaining the accuracy and quality of service you would expect from your pharmacy.
It is our goal to give you absolutely no cause for complaints, meaning we will accommodate you to the best of our ability. We hope you leave our store feeling better than when you came in. Whether you have a question about the most appropriate cold medication for yourself or a loved one, or just want to know if we can procure a product for you, a staff member will always be willing to assist in any way that we can .
